Neeson and Fiennes join Clash of the Titans - Blu-ray Forum

Sure doesn't appear that the death of Natasha Richardson has effected the careers of her husband or mother. With Liam now joining Clash of the Titans and Vanessa Redgrave joining Robin Hood. Well they each waited the required mourning time of one week, so time to get back to acting!

Anyways I like Neeson's work and this casting sure is shaping up very nicely!

Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes will play warring gods in Warner Bros. and Legendary's Clash of the Titans, the Greek-god epic directed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk), says The Hollywood Reporter.

Neeson is playing Zeus, the wise yet sometimes ill-tempered king of the gods and father of Perseus (Sam Worthington).

Fiennes will play Hades, ruler of the underworld who aims to overtake Zeus and rule over all. Fiennes' deal is in still in negotiations.

The two actors join Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos in the production, which begins shooting later this month in the U.K.

He's just probably occupying his time now since Natasha passed. Acting seems to make him happy and given the emotional state of what happened, I think it's a good thing he's working on other movies.

Adding Liam Neeson to the casting sure make's me feel much better about this movie. Original cast of god & goddess back in 1981 was lengendary to say to least

Agreed. Sitting around and thinking about tragedy is worse. The only way to get past tragedy is to keep moving and less dwelling on the fact.

i think he'll probably try to stay busy and not think about her death too much so that he doesnt get depressed
alot of people do it
it really sucks for him that she died man....

but its good news to hear he's getting out there and working

i'll be checking this movie out when it hits theaters

The casting sure came together very fast for this, and it's gonna shoot later this month? There was no delay, I remember nothing about this movie being announced for a very long time than out of nowhere it had almost all it's cast.

Should be a good movie. I always seem to confuse Neeson and Fiennes...maybe they are just one person.

I'm really looking forward to this film. I enjoy the work of both actors (Qui Gon Jinn was not Liam's fault), and this this would add to his legacy.

If you check the IMDB, even though it is not truly reliable, it states 2011.

Lincoln is back in developmental hell. Since Dreamworks left Paramount. Paramount owns it and Spielberg would have to make a deal with them. Paramount doesn't think it's worth the budget Spielberg is projecting (they are thinking more Amistad success with a more lean budget).
