![]() ![]() 30 years ago July 19th 1991 this most excellent sequel came out. It introduced us to the best movie characters ever William Sadler's Death and Station. I love the way the movie looks and the whole evil bill and ted storyline. Funny how after this we had to wait another 29 years for Face The Music to come out and tie everything together |

These films are an absolute part of me.
As much as I enjoyed Face the Music, the Steve Vai solo that becomes Kiss' God Gave Rock n Roll To You is a very difficult ending to beat. |

I love this movie. As much as I liked the original, the sequel surpasses it in every way. The finale - including the magazine covers and newspaper headlines that apparently were not written by Chris Matheson & Ed Solomon - is the perfect ending to this saga. It's also one of several reasons I won't bother with the recent installment.

For whatever reason it seemed like the sequel played on cable TV a lot in the early to mid nineties, whereas I rarely ever saw the first movie. It's like it didn't really exist to me and I didn't finally see it until a few years ago when I got the Blu-ray set. Bogus Journey is the rare sequel that is superior to the original. It has so many great scenes and set pieces, as well as so many WTF moments, lol.

Bogus Journey is easily the weakest of the three for me. I didn't care for it at all when I watched it in the theater, and I never watched it again until last year. I decided to give it another try last year in preparation for Face the Music and liked it even less the second time around.
