Default Why is the Panny BD-30 more expensive than the new Panny players?

Just curious as to why this is when the BD 30 (which I own) is more expensive but yet isnt a 2.0 player. I just wanted to know b/c I was thinking about picking up the BD 60. Please help if you know why.

It is more expensive because it is no longer being made and it is hard to find. Go with the BD-60, which I believe has every feature of the BD-30 and many newer features.

Being that it is hard to find, that's the reason then and not because the newer ones are inferior?

I hope so because I do like the 2.0 compliance and that it has Youtube. This might sound dumb, but can I actually watch movies from Amazon and Youtube with the BD 60?

If it is the same software as my Panny plasma, then yes. And it is pretty cool, BTW. My wife loves it for some of her TV shows where she bought the seasons on Amazon on Demand (which was cheaper than the iTunes equivalent).

I don't know why a BD30 would cost more a BD60, unless you were looking at prices for BD30's with a region-free mod installed.
