I called frys..they had it in stock...went to best buy...told them...they didnt even bother calling frys...they said they was happy i came back to them and gave me the 50 dollars off...

i came back to them because there 5 minutes from my house...frys is 30 minutes...LOL...i didnt tell them that tho..i jus smiled

Just some info for anyone that may be lookin for a pretty nice GPS..You can check frys they have like 3 or 4 of them for 149...that best buy have for 199

I have a Garmin and a Tomtom, and in my opinion the Tomtom is garbage compared to the Garmin. I'm not sure the exact models off the top of my head, but the Tomtom takes much longer to aquire satellites and seems to forget where I am/where I'm going from time to time.

Best Buy had the Tom Tom 140S on sale last week for $149. I bought 3 of them, and they work perfect. No problems acquiring satellites or losing direction for me.

Now this is where I had my money to spend all over again...I paid over $600 for my TomTom Go 700 a few years back...

Now you can buy a decent one for $150 but why are car makers still charging $2000 or more for them?
