Why would people want to own Crystal Skull twice?

I might wait for special editions released individually, but if those don't happen, I'll just buy the set with all 4, even if 'Crystal Skull' is questionable.

Well there are some who prefer Dts HD MA over Dolby TrueHD. But apart from that, I guess it is more 'complete' in one set.
Personally, I loved Crystal Skull just as much as the previous ones.

Eh, I need to upgrade my DVDs. Crystal Skull is the only one in widescreen (I know, I know, but the trilogy was a Christmas present when it first came out, and I was told it was the last set in the store, as it was hugely popular when it first came out on DVD in that original set, widescreen DVDs weren't the norm, and I only had a 13" TV to watch them on!)

All four. I want the complete series, not 3/4 of it.

I already have Crystal Skull...so...I guess I end up owning two copies of it

I'll TRY and give it away to a friend if they'll have it.

This is like some of the new Star Wars. No matter how crap they are, they're still part of the story. All 4 for me.

I would prefer not to double dip, so if they offered the trilogy seperate I would order that.

I sold my DVD set about a month or so ago so I want all 4, but I am not paying more than $50 for it. If all 4 films were as good as Raiders of the Lost Ark I'd have no qualms about paying $65, but sadly they are not.

I want to have all four, but I don't want to keep both the original 2008 BD and the set BD of KOTCS. Which one do I keep? The same reviewer on this site reviewed both. PQ was 4.5 on both. AQ on 2008 was 4.5 and on this set, KOTCS was 5.0, but it wasn't clear from reading both reviews what the reason for the difference was. Yes, 2008 was TrueHD and this set BD is DTS HD MA, but I doubt that the difference in rating was caused by the different audio codec. If the audio had been rated the same, the choice would be easy. I would keep the 2008 BD because of the additional extras.

Anyone want to speculate on that difference in AQ rating? I wonder if the reviewer is reading this thread?

Martin's forum username is kiskiboy97, maybe you can try PM him. Skull was reviewed by him too so I'm also curious to know if there is any upgrade.

I'm going to compare this myself when my set arrives.

I purposely didn't buy Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on Blu-ray after I started upgrading all my DVDs to Blu-ray because I figured they'd do a box set of all four movies eventually.

I don't hate the movie, so I'm glad all four are coming together in a set.

I had Crystal Skull on DVD. Traded it in at Best Buy and ordered the BD for $5 after this set was announced. Glad I did as the box set drops nearly 2 hours of material from Crystal Skull's extras.

I own Crystal Skull, but will be getting rid of it in favor of the complete boxset. I like Crystal Skull, more than Temple of Doom, that's for sure.

I wouldn't exactly mind having all four but Raiders is the only one I really want.

If the set ever pulls a Back to the Future and drops anywhere close to what is effectively a single-release price I'd grab it but otherwise I'll just wait and hope.

(Paramount is pretty patient about this stuff though - I'll probably wind up importing the set at some point)

I purposely never bought Crystal Skull assuming it would be included with the other three when they arrived, I was right. I'm happy to have all four in a set, I enjoy every one of them.

The original 2-Disc Edition have many Special Features not ported over the new box-set. This is why I'm keeping my old edition along with the new box-set.
