Default Chris Benoit double homicide/suicide

For anyone that ever watched WWE or WCW and knows the wrestler Chris Benoit. He was found dead along with his wife and son today in his home.

R.I.P.

I was absolutely shocked to hear this on RAW tonight.

One of the best. And taken way too soon.

I know not everybody watches or respects this form of entertainment, but IMHO it was just breath-taking to watch him in action. Total devotion to his craft.

the last match they showed tonight where benoit won the heavyweight champion belt at WM 20 and Eddie G. came into the ring crying....that was a really powerful moment...I cant believe they are both dead now...

Latest Report: The investigation is now being treated as a double murder and suicide. Hard to believe that Chris Benoit would ever do something like this but I guess you can never know...Autopsy will be conducted tommorow for causes of death.

Just because he was a male doesn't mean that he did the murder-suicide. It could have been his wife, just like what happened to Phil Hartman 9 years ago.

My friends and I are all broken up about this. We're life long wrestling fans and Chris Benoit was truly one the greatest in ring performers I've ever seen. It was a blessing to watch him live and on TV. He will never be forgotten and will be missed.

R.I.P. Chris Benoit

Over the course of the last 10 or so hours we have learned first, a man who we all respected and a great entertainer was dead. Obviously everyone was sad to hear this. I want to know what opinions of him are going to be left after the news breaks that it was Benoit who somehow snapped and murdered his family. It certainly puts a negative skew on the respect of the career we've all watched for several years. What are your thoughts? What should the WWE do now that they have put together a three hour tribute to a man who murdered his family? I think that the WWE should not mention his name again, just never bring up the issue. Obviously all of the superstars will be saddened by their loss, but as a company you just can't have everyone going around talking about how great a man he was. What does everyone else think?
