My favorite DC show is Batman - "Mask Of The Phantasm". Still waiting for that one on blu. The one I would want to see made the most would be an anthology of the 3 Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween specials by Loeb & Sale.

I would love a Kingdom Come animated film. I didn't read the graphic novel until I was an adult and it really resonated with why I had lost interest with comics as a young man. Too many edgey, dark and gritty antiheroes.
[Show spoiler] . It would be interesting to see how they could pay homage to Alex Ross's art.

I noticed they changed the name of this direct-to-video film series again.
From the beginning, these movies were labeled under the banner DC Universe Animated Original Movie. Then for only one film, Superman vs. The Elite, it was labelled as a DC Comics Premiere Movie. It then went back to DC Universe Animated Original Movie with the very next film, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, but soon after with Justice League: War, it changed to DC Universe Original Movie, dropping "Animated" from the label's name. Now, with Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, the label has changed again dropping the word "Original" from it, simply making it a DC Universe Movie. Just an observation. I think the use of the word "Universe" tends to sound like all the films are set within the same continuity, so I always thought the best name for the series would have just been a DC Animated Movie. |

Think my favorite DC Animated Movie thus far is Under the Red Hood with Flashpoint Paradox as a close second. Then depending on the day Justice League vs Teen Titans or Return of the Joker after that.
Honestly I don't think there's one I don't like (so far), but then again I also enjoyed most of the New 52 comics so... ![]() Lot of excellent suggestions already listed that I completely agree with. Kingdom Come and Red Son being my big two, but also wouldn't mind any of the Earth One stuff (especially Batman/Superman... can pass on Teen Titans though.) My own personal addition would be... well honestly wouldn't mind some Batman Beyond love with Futures End, but above all else: ![]() |
