Help me please - Blu-ray Forum

Since I know nothing about speakers in general and I can't find any info on these can anyone enlighten me. Are they car (seem a little large for that), stereo, or home theater speakers? Are they a good deal for $35?

2 CUSTOM BUILT ELECTRAS model #183AH 19"x12"x8". Includes large bass woofer and weeter and midrange. 1-sonic with 8" super bass woofer, 2 weeters and midrange, 23" x 13" x 10 1/2"- features removable front speaker cover.

Where did you see these? Are there pictures available?

Based on size, they seem to be home speakers. Unless they are designed to go behind the back seat, but even then, it would sound muffled coming through the cushions.

I'm also not sure what a 'weeter' is.

It's a classified ad in my local newspaper so no pictures.

I believe it's a car speaker. it's in the center of the back seat.

I would have thought that but the car is a Buick Electra. These are electras which I'm guessing are either a brand name from some manufacturer or a manufacturer themselves.

Only Electra I cant think of would be Focal Electra JML but model number does not ring a bell

Thank you . That at least put me on the right track . It may be an older model number though.
