I just got a 32' AOC from Radioshack. Now it supports 720p, and I have my blu ray player hooked up through HDMI. When i looked at the display on the TV it said 1080p, which I thought it did not support. When I looked in the manual, under HDMI it says it scans in 1080p. Now am I getting a 1080p picture or is it something else? thanks.

your tv will have a fixed pixel resolution...this will be the max resolution of your tv. It should be noted in the user manual under specifications.
It may accept 1080p (and then downscale), but if it does not have 1920x1080 pixels, its not truly 1080p. ![]() Last edited by crackinhedz; 12-25-2009 at 05:23 PM. |

I am not sure they make a 32" 1080p tv. I may be wrong but I don't think I have ever seen one under 37".
