Unbelievable that this masterpiece isn't released yet, whether in the Usa or Europe !
Hopkins & Thompson's role of their lives !

Would be great to have The Remains of the Day on Blu, plus Richard Robbins' score would be heaven to listen to in HD

I'm sure Sony will do it justice and remaster it properly if they decide to release it on Blu. 2001 Special Edition looked pretty good, although some dust and speckles will need to be cleaned.
