I've been wanted to watch this one for a long time. For those that have seen the English dub. How is it? How do the Italian actors sound?

First saw this on MST3K and genuinely loved it so much that I bought the dvd of the actual movie. The colors should really pop on this blu!

So excited! Been waiting on this for what feels like forever and when I heard Shout had made a deal with Paramount, my highest hopes were for this and the Warriors (theatrical cut). Let's hope we get an announcement soon on the latter!

Absolutely fantastic news. I love this film, it's one of the few DVDs I have left to upgrade. And it's a Paramount title too, so we know that it isn't just horror films on the Scream label that Shout are releasing to blu-ray.

How is the English dub on this? Is it obvious that it's dubbed or does it work well overall?

Great news! Been a fan of the character since I rented the VHS back in 1997. I saw there was an animated series and several books and comics. Even heard they were going to do another feature film. Seems this character is legendary in Italy.

It was bad enough for the MST3K guys to mock it. I've only seen the movie that way but it was very stylish and entertaining on its own merits. It was probably the only competently-made film they ever riffed on that show. The style went over their heads, though and they pretty much used the dubbing to make it much worse than it really was. I hope an Italian dub is made available for this release.
