Default My PSP is broken

Tonight my PSP broke I do not know what happened, but when I turn it on the screen looks shattered. It appears to be behind the display as the exterior of the display is fine, so there must be another screen inside and that shows cracks all over the place.. Looks like it maybe fell? Or was even sat on?! I am so annoyed, cant believe it.. Cannot see anything, totally ruined.

Worth getting fixed considering the PSPGo is on the way?

I also broke my original PSP® last year when I dropped it. The same thing happened, actually; half of the "inner screen" stopped functioning. I ended up just buying a 2000 series, and it's much lighter and slimmer, and I like that a lot. I might even get a PSP®go now, just because of that.

yup..buy a replacement screen off ebay. i think i paid like 60 bucks back then. unscrew a few things and unhook here and there and take the old screen out and put the new one.

it wasn't hard for me. but taking stuff apart and putting it back together is just one of those things i'm good at/don't mind doing

thanks xtop, sounds the cheaper option. Wow, ebay really has everything!

Whats killing me is I dont know what happened!! If I knew I dropped it or sat on it then fair enough, but just turned it on and was like WTF!!!

I'd get myself a PSP Go if I were you. Worth the upgrade, despite the hefty Wii-ish price tag.

I'm trying to make it happen. Except in Russia, cause then I'd have to say PSP™ instead.

Thanks for the feedback guys, sorry for not getting back. I took a photo but to be honest it is just like what was posted above by Bizdady.

I have decided to try and fix it myself! Go me! Anyone recommend a site that I could get the screen I am looking for? Again, it is the inner screen that seems to be cracked.. Link?
