'About this upgrade :This utility updates the BDP-S350 firmware to version 020, and provides the following benefits:

* Improves compatibility to enhance interactivity with some BD-ROMs.'
So well worth it !

Second is i upgraded mine fine last night. Bizzarely I found myself in awe of begin able to slow mo it's rather nice to see film a real frame at a time. I know I'm weird.

I recently upgraded to 020 for the bdp-s550 and it's killed my player. I haven't got anything coming up on screen despite the blu ray loading and ticking over (and yep, connections fine, I checked them first).

Does anyone know of known issues with this update, or had similar problems previously?

Firmware 020 works ok on my S550 as far as the additional features it offers. However I'm having an issue with Star Trek TOS season 2. I am getting random pausing.

How would we know what player you have? I think we would first need to setup some sort of wireless mind meld (Vulcan) for us to figure this out first before we go further and try to mess with your toys.
