Default Celebrity Deaths and Impact in 2009.

Hey,

I know there is another thread about Celebrity Deaths that Impacted you the most. But this one discussion is different its not about how it impacted you.

Found this interesting CNN article, discusses all Celebrity death of the year 2009 plus a discussion if 2009 was a grim year for Celebrities or its just over hyped. Even how our culture and society advanced with Twitter, facebook and such mechanisms used for the public Awareness.

What do you guys think?

Quote:
Even celebrity pitch personalities weren't immune as 2009 also saw the passing of Oxiclean pitchman Billy Mays and Gidget, the chihuahua best known for hawking Taco Bell.
But was 2009 any more notable for celebrity deaths than other years? Or, in our hyper-caffeinated, overly Twittered culture, is there simply more awareness?

Link.

Enjoy the read.

Michael Jackson died this year. This is probably one of the biggest celebrity deaths in the entire decade. That's why it's so huge. So did Farrah Faucette, both legends in their own right.

I agree with masoud90, Michael Jackson's death really affects a lot of people, in every genereation and worldwide. Michael influences a lot of our artist today and they are their inspiration on being an artist.
