Original Boondock Saints being re-released - Blu-ray Forum

For the 10th anniversary of the film, The Boondock Saints is going to be re-released in theaters on March 11th for one night, and one showing, 7:30.

Before the movie there will be a special introduction from Troy Duffy, and after the movie there will be an interview and also a sneak peak into comics, graphic novels, and video games.

All sounds like its going to be awesome, and despite me owning the blu-ray, i might have to go to the theater and check this out on the big screen.

Man, Duffy is really milking that one movie he made 11 years ago isn't he? I wonder what he thinks about, what he wishes he could do all over again, when he goes to bed at night.

How's he milking it? He's not pulling a Lucas and changing the original intent of certain scenes or adding CGI characters or other such nonsense. He's having a one night showing for fans and having a talk with the original cast.

Since the release of Boondock Saints 11 years ago Duffy has done nothing except a sequel to Boondock Saints. Here, 11 years after the release of Boondock Saints Duffy re-releases...Boondock Saints. Since 100% of his "output" over the last 11 years has been tied to one movie I would call this "milking".

To be fair, I wouldn't call this a re-release so much as a special screening.
