That's an interesting idea for a steelbook, IMO. Too bad the movie is absolute, bottom of the barrel crap. Not to mention it looks to be G1 sized.

What a desperate attempt to cash-in on a total wackjob of a film.

Shouldn't all movie try the same? Although appealing to the lunatic fringe (which is kind of what Steelbook collectors are, and I include myself in that), can't mean too much money.

Like the looks of this steelbook - guess it'll be a G1 case though...

Anyone else picking this up?

The trailer looks ok...

Received this one yesterday. I kinda like all of the silver...the fact that it's G1 sucks but I guess you can't win them all.

How was the shipping? Was it sent in a box or padded envelope?

It was sent in a cardboard priority mail box. The case was quite snug inside the box so it didn't slip back and forth. Not padding though, and it didn't come shrink wrapped. Thought that was a little odd.

I guess it's because they bought the SteelBooks empty from Scanavo and then proceeded to fill them with the BD or DVD discs. Hence why no shrinkwrap.

When I collected dvd steelbooks I went nuts and bought thousands of dollars worth. So for my blu collection im only keeping it to usa release steels. So I sprung for this. I never open anything in my collection and this arrived unsealed... im not to happy about having an item I bought as brand new arrive unsealed dented in a padded envelope.
