New TV Help - Blu-ray Forum

Hello,

I am home on vacation for a few weeks and my mother finally decided to upgrade tvs. She has a huge living room, and after a trip to Best Buy decided she definitely wants either a 60" or a 65".

I have a 42" Panny plasma at home, and don't much about LCDs. My mom has long considered Sony to be the premiere tv maker, so she is inclined to get a Sony LCD, though I like plasmas myself. She is really looking for the best bang for the buck.

She is willing to spend up to $2500. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Panny plasma is the way to go. I have 2 sony lcd's and wish I had bought 2 panny plasmas. Enjoy shopping.
