Default Does True HD lite up with Pan DMP?

Does True HD lite up on the onkyo 605 with Panasonic DMP-bd10 with the firmware update that lets it decode true hd?

No.

It would only light up if the player could send a high definition Bitstream signal...but as of yet, no player can.

Instead, it will internally decode into Linear PCM, and you will see the Onkyo display "Multichannel"...

Will any players out like mine bdp-s3oo be able to will a update? Or is it something like you will have to buy a new player?
