I know it's been available for rent digitally for a while now. As for a physical release, I'm pretty sure it was November or December.

Real shame. Wanted to see the unrated cut. But nice that the 4 hour making of documentary will be included. Also nice that he did a commentary for the movie. Love listening to Rob's commentaries a lot. Will buy it.

From the press release:

Starring Malcolm McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Richard Brake, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Meg Foster, 31 will be hitting DVD and Blu-ray on December 20th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Both discs will include a feature-length commentary from Zombie himself, plus a 2-hour “Making Of” documentary on the film. Additionally, the Blu-ray comes with a Digital HD copy of the film, which also features a 4-hour extended cut of the “Making Of” documentary exclusive to that format.

It doesn't say it's not though either. So there is hope lol

What's interesting though is that it says there's a commentary on both discs. Either they mean the bluray and the DVD or there's a commentary on the documentary. Speaking of the documentary isn't it BS that the disc version has a 2.5 hours cut of the full 4 hour online only doc?

Either way I'll still be picking this up. Really curious about this one

Agreed, it is bs. However, I'll assume it came to cost issue, since the 4 hour cut would most likely require a second disc, and sadly those type of releases have become far and few between, particularly low-budget new releases.

It was announced bd will have unrated cut while VOD will be R Rated.
Is it confirmed thats not the case or are people reading into that as the page did not mention it being unrated?

Rob has said a number of times that the unrated version will be available on DVD and Blu-ray.

The extended doc is only available with the digital copy. There is a 2.5 hour version of the doc on disc.

The press release and box art make no mention of an unrated cut.
