Default Classic Movies That Deserve 4K Restorations (or 2K Restorations)

These are certain titles that deserve to be restored in 4K or 2K from the original camera negatives:

ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN (1948)

THE NAUGHTY NINETIES (1945)

MARTY (1955)

I don't know how to put in movies posters on this site, so this is the best that I could do.

NBCUniversal has done full preservation on A&CMF.

I'm not sure about the other two.

What do you mean by "full preservation"?

I was being serious. I think these films deserve better.

I’d rather see a thread for new movies that don’t deserve to be in 4K. Like, I can get Rough Night in 4K, but not The Godfather. WTF?

They've done 4K scans of the original 35mm nitrate negatives.

Basically every film from the 1940's-1960's. :P

I half joke, but seriously movies of that era deserve beautiful 4K treatment.
