MEGA NEWS if you're Japanese or a fan.

I can only hope they've massively overhauled the controls and HUD/UI presentation.

Capcom is aiming to ship 4 million units for MHP2G in Japan alone by March

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/201...3rd_announced/

Last known sales there according to Famitsu were:

MHP2G - 2,453,132
MHP2G (Best) - 1,111,656
MHP2G (Best Reprint) - 199,417
Total so far - 3,764,205

No idea how it shipped/sold in the west but I have a feeling that MHP3 first week will probably be greater than FFXIII first week (1.5 million) in Japan.

Also in attendance at today's event was Sony Computer Entertainment President and Group CEO Kaz Hirai. "This is the first time I saw the promotion video," said Hirai. "I was able to feel the new world setting, different from past entries in the series, and am sure that it is truly a big surprise for fans throughout the world. I have a 16-year-old son who pressured me daily by asking 'Dad, when will a PlayStation Version come out?' Of course, this is a trade secret, so I couldn't tell him. But I'm pleased that I can return home today and at long last give him the news."
That's what he says.

Worldwide release this year's the other thing that's stood out most.

i thought freedom unite was a pretty sick game, the only thing that bugged me wree the camera controls, if a monster hunter came to the ps3 id pick it up for sure, but this is portable.
IS this only in japanese???? nooo

Why does everyone have problems with the camera when running around tapping the shoulder button centers it and in battle it's easy to shift ur thumb to the bad for quick adjustments when needed. When fighting properly u really shouldn't need much camera adjustments I even master shifting my pointer finger to control the camera as I used my thumb on the analog

moving the shoulder pads at time was pretty frustrating and when tht happen well, u get f**** by some monster. i thought it was what made the game very annoying at time, and tht some monsters were pretty hard aswell

The monsters were hard because the game was really built around 4 hunters playing together. But every monster is possible to solo I got stuck on hr5 black gravious though p
