Default My rental system

Perhaps a bit misleading - I rent where I live so being able to set up the room I use to watch films the way I would like is not possible - such as routing wires though the wall. At least I was able to paint the viewing wall black. Also put some black material on the ceiling about four feet out from the viewing wall, sure helps contrast. There are so many very well thought out and constructed home theaters here, I sometimes wish I could do more myself, but at least I get enjoyment out of it, and that is what we really strive for in the end. This is my third projector and rather than lose my shirt as it were every time I upgrade, I think it is time to sit back and see where technology will take us in the next 2 or 3 years before I take the plunge again. Rack is a home made throw together. Here are a few photos.

List of equipment:

Epson Pro Cinema 1080UB projector

Carada Criterion 128" 2:35 screen ( BW )

Nu Force AVP 16 pre / processor

Rtec ( Rotel export ) power amps ( 2 ) Center ( bridged ) and Rear channels

ODL power amp ( mains )

Panasonic DMP BD55 blu ray player

Sony PS3

Toshiba A 20 HD dvd player

Toshiba XA 1 HD dvd player

Oppo 981 dvd player

California Audio Labs CL25 dvd/cd player

Sony S7000 dvd player ( for cd play back ) with Musical Fidelity V dac

Soundwave Soliloquy main speakers

Paradigm CC350 Center ch. speaker

Axiom QS8 rear Surround speakers

SVS NSD PC 12 sub

Paradigm PDR10 sub

Toshiba 42" lcd monitor

Monarchy Audio DT40 laser disc player

Signal Cable interconnects, power cables and speaker wire, MIT for center speaker.

Can't say much for the decor at the moment! Earlier picture prior to changing things a bit.

Wires, wires everywhere. I really need to tidy it up.

I have a rental setup as well and all wires are concealed. You just gotta know how to fix the minor damages before moving out. In your case you got that projector. Its harder to conceal them wires to your projector if you got neighbors upstairs I guess.

Oh, yes, the cat. Well, the girl loves to eat! She is a Siberian, they tend to be on the large side generally. There are some pics on the internet I have come across of males that frankly were BIG.
