Shitty lineup, and it barely qualifies as a tour

Why can't Ozzfest get metal bands with real talent like....

Blind Guardian
Opeth
Iced Earth
Amon Amarth
Pyramaze
Symphony X
Dream Theater
Agalloch
In Flames
Dark Tranquility

...the one year they actually had someone good on the bill (Iron Maiden), they screwed it up over that ridiculous feud between Bruce Dickinson and Sharon Osbourne. Geez couldn't at least have gotten Judas Priest instead of just Rob Halford? What about Megadeth? Are they really too busy?

Effin' Motley Crue?!? Are you serious Sharon!?!? They're a decent band but I wouldn't even consider them metal.

few answers.

Dream Theater is tour with Iron Maiden this summer. IIRC they are going to Europe afterwards

Slayer/Megadeth/Testament are an tour this summer as well. Same time as Ozzfest.

I actually like Halford's solo material more than Judas Priest.

Yeah Ozzfest 2010 is only 6 dates this year. We get one one of the dates. Really a terrible lineup. One of the worst. The other summer US tours like Rockstar Mayhem 2010 aren't much better though.

Europe gets the big 4 tour Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax..we get this crap..

I'm hoping Halford does more dates after this. Closest one to me is Pittsburgh and I had a miserable time there about 10 years ago.

He is. The dates haven't been announced yet. A summer/fall tour.

Ozzfest with another crap lineup... not surprised... They havent brought the tour up here in a few years anyways, think the last one was when System did their final tour which I saw.

Well to be fair, Hellfest is 3 days. I'd love to go to that.
