Dante's inferno sound dropouts - Blu-ray Forum

Hello All,

Anyone else get a couple sound dropouts with Dante's inferno? I have an Oppo.

Might be another Amazon return for me...

Do the dropouts occur in the same place each time if you replay that section, or are they random and unrepeatable? I see you have an Oppo player--are you bitstreaming, or decoding in the player? Tnx.

Nope, its in the same 2 places exactly.

I am using bitstreaming out.

Ok. I'm assuming that these dropouts are also happening when decoding in the Oppo. If so, it suggests the proplem is with the disc, possibly a physical defect or dirt. Have you inspected the surface, or cleaned it carefully?

Yeah I'm thinking its the disc also.. Of course I'm past the return period so I'm stuck with it! Teaches me to watch them quicker..
