Actually I liked this movie quite a lot. It is funny movie, it has much real thai boxing (by authentic child boxer) and even more other mindless action, but infact it has a also a script that ain't too bad at all for a movie of the genre.

PQ is IMO a very good upscale that is ofcourse lacking the finest detail but has solid blacks and other colors too. AQ of Somtum is also quite good (DTS HD Master Audio).


Watched also Chai Lai a few days ago and it has a little bit poorer PQ than Somtum. But still it also has good colors and contrast as Somtum. SQ I didn't test DTS HD MA but plain surround sounded good as pro logic goes.

Chai Lai was also almost as good as a movie as Somtum, but Chai Lai girls kicks ass. I would rate this as good movie as Charlies Angels (Chai Lai being IMO better than Charlies Angels part 2).

I've been meaning to post this, the film is being released by Magnet on Blu-ray as Muay Thai Giant. A ridiculous retitle, but there you have it.

"Muay THAI Giant", that's ridiculous. How about "A Giant to visit Thailand", or "The Giant's Story"?
