First thought was, "It's a bit late for Asylum, isn't it? "

Haha, but they are making I am legend 2! Supposedly a prequel sequel.

I may be wrong, but I think the original poster actually means the movie "Robot" and slightly misremembered the actual title.

It's Will Smith in Czech.

(And evidently converted, as foreign countries seem to like that much more than we do, for some reason not yet fully understood. )

okay. That was confusing. My book of 3d movies lists a 1950s or 1960s movie titled "Robot" as being in 3d which is why I thought the original poster was talking about that particular title.

I didn't realize there was a different movie titled "I am Robot" which was filmed only in 2d and" converted to 3d" for blu-ray release.

or is it the same movie with a different title in a foreign country?

Why is it using a poster from Independence Day?

I enjoyed I Robot also. Would be more than happy to have a 3D version. Seems like a great choice to me for 3D. Can't think of many fast cuts that would make it hard to perceive depth, plus the very white and futuristic design aesthetic should lend itself perfectly to 3d

I can (ahem) think of ONE Fox film that could benefit from the newer conversion method.

(Okay, technically Lucasfilm, not Fox...)

Okay, this is a very nice super-limited item for Comic Con attendees.

Will the 3D BD version of I Robot be available commercially in standard packaging? I would certainly think so considering the investment that Fox made to make the conversion. This is an excellent film and I hope the 2D to 2D conversion is eye-popping.
