If this announcement was really such a shock to everyone, including the folks working at Paramount then it wouldn't surprise me if some shipments of Blades of Glory made their way to retailers. Best place to keep an eye out would be Ebay.

I don't know if any of you recall this since it was nearly ten years ago, but Warner released a DVD version of Little Shop of Horrors that contained some unfinished footage that for some reason they decided to pull the release a week before it was supposed to come out. The video store I worked at got some copies in and we sold them even though we were supposed to send them back. I still have one of them. It could happen that some of the Blades of Glory will sneak out on Blu-ray. Expect them to show up on ebay for huge prices. Thus I would suggest buying whatever Paramount titles you can find, keep them for a while then ebay them... Make yourself some money off of Paramounts Stupidity.

I suggest picking up several copies. They could be worth quite a bit of money in the future.

My preorder was not cancelled yet Fingers crossed.

Heck if I were Paramount I would let as many slip through the cracks as possible. There must be thousands of media ready to go. Paramount could go back to their slave owners and just say "whoops, not our fault." Heck Paramount is excellent at telling lies, we all know that.

What would be the best type of stores to check? Could even BB and Target put them on the shelfes? Or try to find the smallest stores possible?

Try small stores first, or call the big ones..depending on who you get they might put them out or grab one for you if they dont know to hold them already.

They cant stop them but major retailers will be held responsible if they do put them out when there was a hold on them. When "This Film is not Yet rated" they had to put a hold on the first shipment because of a MPAA name that wasn't supposed to be there, until the new ones arrived we could have got fined a 1000 bucks a dvd if they were sold, plus now a days most systems will block a UPC is rang up at a register...just what i know :S
