Ninja assasin or Ninja?

I recently bought and watched Ninja assasin and thought it was a masterpiece. I am thinking about buying Ninja, but i am hoping its just as good. What do you all have to say about Ninja. Is it Just as good or no where near assasin?

I turned Ninja off after about 15 minutes... it was directed by a dude that directed a bunch of Power Rangers episodes... I thought it was crap... you might like it tho. NOTHING like Ninja Assassin

I thought Ninja Assassin was awesome too!

Ninja does kinda look and feel like a Power Rangers episode but there is actually some really sweet action/violence in it. I wouldn't buy it, but if you really like ninja stuff, you might enjoy it.

hehe I never thought I'd see "Ninja Assassin" and "masterpiece" used in the same sentence. Glad you enjoyed it, man. I thought it was pretty okay! I liked Ninja, too. Cheesy but fun.

I thought both of them were dog Sh*t imho....NA's digital blood ruined it for me. As for Ninja...just nevermind.

I'm not sure why all of the hate for Ninja, I thought for a low budget movie it was leaps & bounds better than ninja assassin

Not to mention the lead actor in it is pure badass in the movie. If you like ninja movies in general, I would make your own opinion rather than listen to a few people online. There is obviously a big difference in opinion among us.

Ninja is not better than Ninja Assassin but it is pretty good. I enjoyed it. Plus, it has a KILLER audio track that will rock your socks off. The PQ is also very good. If you like action movies, you will not be dissapointed.

Ninja uses a better arsenal of weapons and isn't all hyper-fast fights in the dark. Ninja had terrible acting but to me, they're pretty different movies.

Count me in as one of those that really enjoyed Ninja Assassin and will have it on Blu-ray when its less than $15. I haven't seen Ninja yet so I can't comment on that.

Ninja Assasin to me was a huge dissapointment.

1000 shurikens per second in the dark, CG blood and just pointless story where I cared less about anybody.

I had high hopes for this and was extremely dissapointed.

I have quite the MA movie collection and this won't be one of them.

While I still found some enjoyment in Ninja Assassin, I do agree alot with the problems you had with the movie as well. Some of the action scenes were so over the top it took me right out of it.

I'm right there with you, and was very glad I got it through Netflix. Love action movies. Love martial arts movies. Absolutely hated Ninja Assassin, though. It's one of very few movies I've given a one-star rating to on Netflix, joining atrocities such as Dumb & Dumber, Sphere, and Star Trek V.

What are people expecting from action movies? I don't get people who complain that a movie had over-the-top action scenes!!! It's an action movie, for Pete's sake, isn't it?

Ninja Assassin..yes its gory and violent. I could not recommend Ninja to anyone. I am not saying that the actin in Ninja Assassin is great, but what you would expect out of an action movie. On the other hand, I could not finish watching Ninja...painful.

We liked both films.... isaac florentine is one of our favorite directors.... ninja was another nice tune up before undisputed III: redemption came out the first of this month. Just watch the films and decide for yourself.. its not like the world will end if u watch it and end up not liking it lol...

I watch both ; ninja assasin have much visual effects instead NINJA is more "natural" with better chorography fighting scenes and less blood than Ninja assasin that use more gore
