I have just bought dvd TINA LIVE (Tina Turner) from 2008/2009 tour. It is an amazing concert. Any news about blu-ray release? Anyone?

Primus, have to agree with you here.I think any of Tina's concert would make a excellent blu also they need to release What's Love Gotta Do With It(movie).

Those legs of hers need to be immortalized in glorious High Definition!

I love Tina and saw this tour twice. The release notes says it was recorded in HD and has 5.1 sound, but then they released it on DVD.

I've always wondered why they would film in HD and release in SD. If anyone ever finds out this is coming to Blu PLEASE notify me! :P

Pre ordered the DVD though. Can't wait for Monday!

I was wondering the same thing. Just got the cd/dvd today. I saw the concert in Chicago last Dec. and she was awesome. I wonder as well the 2000 concert and 1995 concert were shot on film or in high def. I would think the 2000 concert for sure.
