Default Sylvester Stallone could have been Han Solo!!!

hey,

Didn't know about this,

SLY COULD HAVE BEEN HAN SOLO!!!

Quote:
He was a scrappy underdog from Philly who got a shot at the heavyweight title. He was also a Vietnam vet out for justice. He was even a truck driver turned professional arm wrestler. But he missed his chance to be a stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder.

In a recent question-and-answer session with the readers of Ain't-It-Cool-News, Sylvester Stallone opened up about the roles he has played in his career, plus a few that he didn't. Most notably, he revealed that he was actually considered for the role of Han Solo in the original "Star Wars."

How different Han Solo could have been if Sly got the part.

What do you think?

My take on this is simply.......

No no no.

He would have beaten Vader down in a one on one match while being watched by the troopers.

Then after he won he would proclaim, "If I can change, and you can change...EVERYONE can change!!!"

When Luke , Chewie, and Han walk into the hall to be decorated at the end of Episode 4, the beginning of the music already sounds like the Rocky theme so why not?

If Stallone were Han Solo it would have made Solo the Jar Jar Binks of the original trilogy.

Makes me wonder what Star Wars woulda been like with a cast of 80's badasses. I suppose Chuck Norris coulda been Luke. Though a 70's badass, Sonny Chiba could have been Obi-Wan.

Bruce Lee as Luke Skywalker would've been fun to watch. Would've been interesting to see what a martial arts god could do with a "glow wand".

Had he not died in '79, Siu Tien Yuen could have been Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back.
