I have Kidney Stones, amongst other things. Not a good day :(

Woke up this morning, from a pain in my side that I really cant describe.. It took my breath away, Made me throw up, and nearly pass out.. I got to the ER , and was very flushed and felt like someone hit me in the guts with a sledgehammer .. After testing and ultrasounds I have 6 stones inside passing now, and I already peed out 2 .. Anyone ever have this? And if so are the random shots of pain , just that? Random? I am on 7.5 mg percocets right now and they seem to take the edge off, But I know when they pass and the pain comes again, Im gonna have to just through it .. . which sucks

Probably one of the worst feelings/pains I have ever had, and almost scary because it basically just shut down my whole body.. All that plus diagnosed with Hyper tension ( BP @ 167/110 ) and an inflamed appendix .. Not a great day , so just wanted to see if anyone else has gone through this

Did any of you guys have them? Do the random outbursts of pain just come and go?

it varies on the person but its pretty random pain mostly while passing and i feel for you brother 6 sounds like alot.

I had to have two surgeries last year on a stone that got stuck in my ureter. I had the same thing as you, nausea, vomiting, etc. Sat in the ER for 3 hours like that while they dicked around with who knows what. I was on two percocets every four hours for awhile . . . it's amazing how well you can function on them when you take that much The bad thing is, to pass them you have to drink lots and lots of water, but the pain is caused by the pressure from the same liquid getting backed up by a stone blocking the pathway.

Hopefully you won't have to have surgery. It blows hard. I still have pain almost every day due to the scar tissue that accumulated at the site of the stone.

I'm really sorry about your condition. Haven't been through anything like that but i have seen my share of such cases this past few weeks at work. I sincerely hope you feel better.

Did you feel like you got kicked in the nuts? I guess some people get that and some people don't. That, unfortunately, is usually what I start to notice first when I have one.
