Best version for The Running Man? - Blu-ray Forum

What is the best version for The Running Man out there? The German (Uncut?), Aussie or USA one?

I'd prefer it region 2 / free incase my modded player don't handle the USA Lionsgate one.

If I am correct, the USA release is region A locked. I think its being re-released in the US though soon, so that may change with the new release.

The Aussie disc is a port of the US Lionsgate release.

Really want this on Blu, so annoying that it hasn't been released here in the UK! Is the Aussie version pricey, and is there is a link to purchase it from?

It seems to be expensive at the moment, but I've seen it for around $10-$13au

I've got the German uncut. I'm more than happy with the AQ and PQ, not the best BR transfer but 10 times better then the DVD I have. Also the artwork is great and its uncut !!

Australian release!

The German Release states UNCUT but be weary as it's not always the case.

I was told to purchase the Australian release back when I asked the same question. I was told the Australian release hasn't been butchered etc & I don't regret buying it in the slightest!

It states uncut which is the same as the standard version US & AU releases.

It's UNCUT by German standards!

+1,I asked the question some time ago and was told the same thing although I should have bought it then as it was cheaper but I will get round to picking it up at some stage.

I have the Aussie I had the USA version but sold when a region B friendly copy became available.

I have the American version which i believe is the same as the AU version. Good PQ and AQ with some nice extras...
