Lafangey Parindey BD announced by yrf

Yash Raj Films announcd the release of Lafangey Parindey soon. Scheduled date for BD release is 11th Oct.'10

cool, ill be getting this when it releases. I surprisingly enjoyed the movie, thought it was really gonna suck but i ended up liking it.

Do you know if Yash Raj Films is releasing any of their other films on blu-ray soon?

We have been told by yrf as well 1 week after Dvd release Bd should be out fingers crossed ..

I was about to order the dvd of lafengey parindey tomorrow morning, i am glad i will wait a week to get the blu ray, but is it for sure, they said kartik calling kartik was coming out and it didn't, then once upon a time/mumbai, it is still missing in action, aisha blu ray was a done deal, that is now pushed to infinity, so these companies are seriously lacking credibility they disappoint us again and again.

we have stated in all our other post we will not announce any Bd title any more unless we have 100% confirmation from source or the bd in hand EG: swades,raajneeti,veer etc

So please be pateint as allot of bds were announced in september but never came out,as far ar karthik calling karthik eros have it ready but decided to relaese Veer instead after the succes of dabaang ..

Im sure blurayseller's info on this is same as ours and we can only hope these companies stick to there words .

Thanks for the update. This is promising since both Bluray Seller and BBR have received the same information.

As I mentioned in another thread, Lafangey Parindey just released on DVD in the US as well.

Just remember however, that Badmaash Company BD was also supposed to release one week after the DVD and it ended up taking almost 2 months.

Dude, never buy YRF DVDs anymore. They may come weeks after the DVD release, but Yash Raj Films is the only company so far that seems dedicated to releasing their whole catalogue on blu-ray and all six of their latest films have been released: Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, New York, Dil Bole Hadippa!, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Pyaar Impossible & Badmaash Company. Thus, it's pretty much a sure thing that Lafangey Parindey, Band Baaja Baaraat, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Dhoom 3 and whatever else they have in store will come out on blu-ray around the same time as it comes out on DVD (or maybe 2 months after).

+1, i agree, i will also wait it out. Any news on older titles though from YRF?

Its a shocker that Mohabbatein hasnt yet released on blu from YRF, as well as Darr. though still keeping my fingers crossed for Aaja Nachle.

Lafangey Parindey will i am sure no doubt look really good on blu ray!!
