MI-5 Show - Blu-ray Forum

A friend recommended that I check this show out and I've been hooked. It is a BBC Intelligence show that appears to be new shows here in Washington but may be old in the UK. I also noticed that the show is also refered to as "Spooks". I love the pace of the show and also the fact that there are no commercials. Each new show is 10pm PST every Saturday night on KCTS (Ch 9 or 109 for HD). From the looks of it the show has been on for 8 Seasons. Not sure if anyone else watches this show but if you are looking for something to watch on a Saturday night you might find this interesting. Check your local listings.

Spooks (as it's known in the UK) is a fantastic show! I've watched it all eight seasons, and Season (or Series as they refer to it) 9 starts up later this year. It will probably be the last one, unless they decide to do a 10th one.

Hey Groo, since you are in Washington State as well is KCTS the only place to see the latest or new shows as you have mentioned? I'm not sure which Season I am watching on Saturdays but I do remember reading earlier this year that Hermione Norris the blonde who plays Agent Ros is no longer on the show. The shows I've been watching on Saturday nights still have her on there.

Anyways, I would love to have this show on Blu-ray if it ever gets a release.

It comes on our PBS station, on Saturday night at 11pm, after Poirot.
I've been watching it for 4-5 months now..........

For those who are watching it in the states you are seeing the edited down versions. The original versions airing on BBC are roughly 57 minutes or so (give or take), and when airing over here as MI-5 they are usually cut down to 42 minutes or so, plus any cursing (which there's not much) or nudity (again, not much) is removed I believe.

And they are (at last check which was years ago) several seasons behind. They may be airing season 6 now, and Season 9 should be airing later this year.
