Default Insomnia. Canada getting it a week late?

According to Amazon.ca, HMV.ca, and Futureshop, it's being released on the 20th. But in the states, and according to it's official release date, it's being released on the 13th. I know it's a little early to get a precise answer, but I'm hoping somewhere in Canada releases the BD this coming Tuesday. I believe it's supposed to come with a ticket to Inception. I had planned to see it opening weekend using that free ticket. But as of the last couple of weeks, it appears Canada is getting the BD after the films first weekend.

So, I guess the reason I created this thread is so any information found on the BDs release could be posted here. Come Tuesday morning, I'll be calling FS, HMV, Any local rental store, and probably stopping by Walmart hoping to find it.

Yea seems that way. At least BB currently has the catalogue title for the superlow price of $19.99!

well if it comes with the free movie ticket (as mentioned by the OP) it would be a decent price

Going by what Warner Bros has listed there will be no inclusion of a movie ticket (voucher). The following 6 releases have Inception movie vouchers:

Aviator
Batman Begins
Dark Knight
The Departed
Heat
The Matrix

It would make a lot of sense to include a movie ticket with Insomnia.

I hope Canada gets these with the included free ticket. I'll have to look out for them throughout this week. I know I'm sounding cheap, but if I can get a BD that I planned on buying, like Insomnia or Batman Begins, and get a free pass to a film I planned on seeing, then f'ing why not? It's sounding like Canada is getting the shaft with Insomnia though. Without that free ticket I don't really want to pay 20 bucks for it.

I should be able to confirm by Tuesday or Wednesday the latest if a movie ticket is included or not.
Batman Begins comes with the movie voucher.

looks like it was delayed in Canada unbelievably.

No luck at Best Buy, Future Shop or HMV. When I asked, all had a releases date of July 20 in their systems.

why WB, why?

My guess is a delay in packaging in bilingual, which is also one of the reasons Blu-rays/DVDs cost more here than US, the extra cost of printing in French.

Ya, no luck here. Looks like it's next week. Couldn't find any of those WB titles with included ticket either. Bummer, a week late, and no free ticket from the looks of it.

We received our shipment today and i can confirm that there is NO movie voucher included. There is no mention of a movie coupon on the package or on the back of the Blu-Ray. It's Bilingual packaging

The movies with the movie vouchers were released on June 29/2010 and should be available.

Well that sucks. Not only do we get it a week late, but no movie ticket coupon as well. Thanks for nothing Warner.

Went to Best Buy to get this today, and now they are telling me they can't sell it until the 27th. Does anyone know what is going on with this movie?
