Best deal for Scott Pilgrim - Blu-ray Forum

Just noticed on hmv.ca they have scott pilgrim "with film cell" for 29.99, same as everywhere else (BB/FS)

anyone know what the film cell is, or has anyone seen it for cheaper?

A film cell is a strip of the film (like, one inch across, 2-3 long), I don't know what the scene it's from is (it may be random).

Walmart's exclusive is a T-Shirt. It's 31.97, but arguably, it's a better value as the shirt is worth more than the film cell.

And it looks like at walmart, without the shirt, it is $27.93.

It's likely not an actual film cell, just a senitype, which is essentially a reproduction of a film cell. They're nice looking, but pretty worthless.

Cheapest place will be buying from Best Buy. If you're a Reward Zone member, you get a choice of November Holiday Rewards. One of them is 2X rewards points on all purchases made from 10-12 on Monday to Friday.

So you not only will get 10% lower than anywhere else, but you'll get $10 in RZ points.

is that all november 10-12 or 10am-12pm? and how do you get $10 in RZ points from just scott pilgrim, even with the double points?

10am-12pm. The deal lasts the entire month.

The big new release of the week usually always gets 400 Reward Zone points ($5) if you purchase on the first day. So if you purchase it before 12, you get an extra 400.

Same deal as the Toy Story 3 deal.

i would have done this too, but im not a fan of the artwork on the amazon steel. i prefer the reg blu cover better. enjoyed this MUCH more than i expected to. excellent movie!

I saw the weekly ad and it does not say you'll get 400 pts on Scott pilgrim unlike toy story 3 where it was advertised.....

Just dropped by walmart in south common, Edmonton and the manager said that they ordered 48 items of the bluray with the shirt but none arrived this morning. He said to try again later....

They had to tear apart the entire store, but they found the copies hiding in a box inside the cell phone area at my local walmart.

At least I got my copy ... after waiting around for 30 mins.

Just picked it up at HMV for $29. Came with the film cell.

drove to Windermere Walmart and got my blu with the shirt...i think they still had like 6-8 boxes when i came in...yeah, the shirt looks great!!! gonna wear it tonight when my friends come to our place to watch the movie tonight..
