They're doing a multi-buy sale 2 for $30. Shipping is only $4 for the entire order but if you want free shipping you have to spend over $100. I tried signing up to get the 10% off code and like so many others, I haven't received anything. I contacted them last night about it so hopefully they'll fix it soon. The best deal is on the newly remastered Jurassic Park trilogy steelbooks at $45 each. EDIT: 10% off code is SIGNUP10. It doesn't work with any other deals though such as the 2 for $30, $25 or $20 though. It will work with free shipping. EDIT 2: 3 for $40 changed to 3 for $50. There's plenty of deals to be had in the fluctuation of prices so you don't always need to go with one of those deals as a lot of titles drop below the deal prices. Huzzah for the Great White North! Hope GRUV comes through with some awesome deals. The U.S. version can be hit or miss but overall I have gotten some solid bargains through them.

Yeah it's nice that we finally get their main site as they've only been selling through 3rd party like Walmart, Amazon and eBay. I've bought a ton from them off of eBay and now they're back to their $4 shipping flat rate with the site whereas eBay is $6 (used to be $4 then $10 during the Canada Post strike). I'm sure we'll see better deals like 3 for $40 or something.

2 for $30 is similar to the individual $15 pricing I've seen at Walmart for some catalogue SDS 4K titles. I'd still say the 3 for $40 that Amazon.ca has had twice so far was a better deal, as it had some new catalogue titles like Constantine and Amadeus in it.
A benefit of this dedicated Canadian site is the possibility Amazon.ca price matches its deals, like they do with Best Buy Canada. |

The Blu-ray Multibuy 2 for $25 has TV seasons and some double features.
https://gruv.ca/collections/blu-ray-multibuy-2-for-25 Amazon Ca does not pm websites I might add. |

As far as I can tell searches cannot be sorted by price.

Categorizing and sorting on the site is basically non-existent. Other than sales and pre-orders, their stock is basically inaccessible short of searching individual titles. This is unfortunate for us and for them as a business, because I’m sure I’m not the only one that doesn’t have the time or energy to search out titles like that. I’m excited to have another Canadian friendly option because they are few and far between, but I’ll be sticking to their advertised sales, anything else will be a lost cause. |

SIGNUP10 is the code for 10% off from the email I just got but it doesn't work with the 2 for $30, $25 or $20 deals so that sucks.
I'm sure they'll have better deals later on akin to Amazon's 3 for $40 deal as they seem to on their US Gruv site so it may pay to wait. There's at least some titles on sale here that weren't in the Amazon deal. With Prime Day coming up there could be better deals but who knows. The real deal seems to be on your Jurassic Park trilogies though. Edit: I waited for one title to come back in stock and now everything I had in my cart is out of stock. Not sure why but most stuff is oos now all the sudden. Maybe an issue with inventory or the site. Last edited by VIDEOgameDROME; 07-03-2025 at 08:22 PM. |

yeah looks like everything is oos, I was hoping that it wasn't a site issue and orders weren't messed up but I just got a shipping notice so hopefully everything works out for everybody

The shipping company they used said "they could not deliver because they couldn't find location" and they "needed my help" to find it - however, calling them, I've waited over an hour on hold and was then disconnected. I just live in the burbs in a house, absolutely ridiculous

Also, I thought the GRUV site says they charge when items ship, but it looks like they charged me for my full order even though only one of the four items I ordered has shipped (the other three items aren't shipping until September as those are pre-orders.....) |

I've come up with a few brute-force searches that can help people see the catalogue of discs available on Gruv.ca:JP

Looks like the Jurassic Park trilogies were wrongly priced and got fixed now. Presumably because they are Steelbooks, they automatically priced them at $44.99 at first.
