how to hook up 2009 macbook to my lcd tv

Hey guys can you show me how to hook up my macbook late 2009 model with my samsung ln52a650 tv. I bought the mini display port to dvi wire. It connect seamesly but it only show part of the picture. How can I get the whole picture to show up?

Have you tried a MiniDV port to HDMI adapter? You will need to purchase an HDMI cable as well.
I have a MacBook Pro (purchased September 2009), but I have never hooked it up to my TV.
Give it a try.

go to monoprice.com and pickup an mini display port to either dvi or hdmi adapter, whichever you prefer, i actually bought one of each last night
