Happy Madison Films..? - Blu-ray Forum

I just want to vent i guess haha. I really would like all of the happy madison films to come out on blu-ray already. im talking about grandmas boy, billy madison, happy gilmore, little nikki, etc. these were classic comedys that haven't even got mentioned yet.

anyway, i'm sure they'll come eventually, i've got the hd dvd's but they might have decided they could be improved and that's why they haven't been released on blu

I totally agree! Add Mr. Deeds to that list for me as well. (My copy of that and Happy gilmore are fullscreen) Also waiting on Liar Liar which was not Happy Madison but was a hd dvd release I have heard nothing about.

Although it seemed like a low budget movie for the most part, I really enjoyed Little Nicky. LOL!

Little Nicky was great - a lot of people didn't like it, though. It gets better with repeated viewings. Caught it in HD on one of the premiums a few weeks ago - very soft PQ and the special effects were incredibly dated.

I would buy Happy Gilmore in a heartbeat. Happy G and Caddyhack are the two best golf movies ever. Not that there are really that many to choose from but those two are great.

Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, and Bulletproof were just announced for Germany, with a September 16th release.

We should be getting an announcement for these soon.

Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison might be released next Tuesday here. Not sure though as only our Blockbuster has them at their site, but no other Danish retailer mentions them.

..along with The Break-Up, You Me & Dupree and Dante's Peak, and a few others..

I don't want Bulletproof. I saw like 20 minutes of it and wasn't a fan.

I'll take Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Mr. Deeds, Big Daddy, and hell I'll even take The Longest Yard.

But what they really need to put out is Grandma's Boy!!!

I never seen Mr. Deeds but it is sad that I never seen it since I am a big Winona Ryder fan

These same films have also been announced for Japan on October 26th.

A US announcement should be right around the corner.

I got Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and Bulletproof along with Dante's Peak, You Me & Dupree and The Break-Up. Along with these six titles released here in Denmark on August 24 was a few Al Pacino movies.
