I bought this on release day 4th of June, and was surprised the JB I went into last Thursday night still had 5 copies on the shelf. As Pertwee and Baker sets used to sell out pretty quick.
Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of Australian collectors buy the UK releases now due to the 2 or 3-month gap in our release dates.

Hopefully Madman announce the next release at the same time as the UK. Because it'd be a bummer if they stopped doing these releases here.

I'm not a fan of the UK packaging for these sets. Even though I did buy one back when there was a long 10 month gap between the UK and AU release dates for same season 20 set. Now I just wait until whenever the next release is announce locally and hopefully a 20% off JB HiFi sale soon after to lesson the sting of having to pay these higher retail prices since Madman became the new Australian distributor.

Sure do. It's so easy to just wait for the right offer on Amazon and pick up a copy for a bit over $100.

For those who haven't heard, Season 13 is up next which makes me a happy camper.

Season 13 is the next instalment in Doctor Who: The Collection Blu-ray range

Good news. Not including the William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton seasons. There aren’t that many seasons to go after 13 is released. Only Tom Baker s11 & Peter Davison s21 before they finally complete these bu-ray releases.

Since they already did a William Hartnell season 2 blu-ray. They'll probably wait until these are complete before doing so for the rest of the first two doctors stories. Since there are still missing episodes from these stories/seasons. Where some have been animated with only surviving audio for that episode to complete the story. As there are missing episodes that are believed to exist only in private collectors hands and not been returned for archival.
