Graphics look pretty awesome too. You know, with all the visual processing power in these videogame systems, the games that have impressed me most are actually the 2D ones that brings back the old school. Sure, MGS4, Uncharted 2, and Killzone 2 raised the bar, but most 3D games look generic and uninspired. 2D games like Limbo, KoFXII, Shank, Critter Crunch, Swords & Soldiers really show what the hardware can do... probably because they're not confined to some overused engine. |

Part of me really wants this, but at the same time, the price is insane. $14.99 for one "Episode". Isn't there supposed to be something like 4 episodes total? So, when all is said and done, this will be a $60 game. Kind of a lot for a throwback to an old school style of gaming that should be pretty basic to program by today's standards.
I'd actually prefer if they just released the entire game on a disc for $60. While still a lot, If I'm going to pay that much for the game either way, then just give it to me in full up-front in a hard media format. Odds are I will still end up buying it in the relatively near future, but I'm not happy about how it is being handled. |
