Default Alien Quad Set - Best Price

It is $97.99 US at Amazon and basically the same at Walmart. We all know that will drop as price wars begin closer to release date.

What other prices have you seen for this set so far elsewhere?

In the US, the $97.99 price is as good as I've seen so far.

If region free, the UK set would be quite a bit cheaper at just over $58 + shipping.

Hmmm, I'm kinda doubtful...I'm thinking there may be a more likely deal for the Back to the Future set. I'm holding out for a deal on that one.

No telling what the BF price might be but I'm pretty sure by the looks of things I'm not getting this on release day! Oh well.

Best I found so far is $90.95. Never dealt with this resource before however.

Costco has it on their website for $94.99.

And I just found a $5.00 Target gift card that I need to use, so I might get it there which is $99.49, or go the Costco route which will be almost the same amount.

Decisions...decisions.

Don't care what the UK price is, I want to know the best US price!

I only buy UK, if it's exclusive over there!

so, it seems BestBuy is bringing it's price more in line with its competitors:$94.99

To anyone that has not pre-ordered this yet, I just checked my Goldbox Deal on Amazon and it is priced at $85.49. I know this won't apply to everyone, but some may have it in their Goldbox Deal and it's worth checking.

I usually buy my Day 1 releases from BB since I like the benefit of their reward zone points. Since this release is a little more expensive knowing I want this ASAP, I'm going to go head and get it from AMZ since there's no tax involved.

The bad thing is, I'll have to wait for it to ship which is fine by me. $20 difference when you add Best Buy's total with tax. If I want it that bad, I can just pay the taxes and truly get it on day 1.

I'm not usually negative on movies I like... but there's no way I'm paying more than $60 for these 4 movies. As much as I liked the first 2 and would like to own the whole shebang... they just aren't worth more than that to me at this stage.

I would bet on it being region free, specially for all the audio options (Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Latin Spanish), which would make it a great buy, and which more than likely, will drop in price at AMZ UK, which would make it even a bigger deal.

Just don't forget that most of the 'good' movie series, tend to take years to drop in price, like Bourne, Batman, Spider-Man, Matrix, etc., so don't hold your breath for a lower price.

AMZ UK (if region free) could end up being the best bet.

I thought Batman had a pretty good sale fairly early.. and Spider-Man as well. I can't speak to Bourne or Matrix. I already had Bourne on HD-DVD (haven't re-bought on Blu and will not until they are dirt cheap)... and Matrix I bought during HD-DVD closeouts and then used WB's upgrade program to update to Blu cheaply as well.

I know I got my Spider-Man trilogy for less than $40... I missed some of the good Batman sales until I found a used copy at a local store for cheap.
