I noticed some retailers show the cover with a "25th Anniversary" text below "Gremlins", while others don't.

Has the cover/content changed?

Same content, it's the slipcover that has the 25th Ann mentioned on it!

It's not just the slipcover that has the 25th Ann. mentioned on it, the cover insert does as well. The newer releases I've seen don't have the slipcover, and only have the film's title (minus the 25th Ann. printing). There's no difference in regards to disc content.

We've got a christmas cover coming out in the UK unless thats the one you mean.
