Default Disney Blu-ray UK vs USA

I'm in England right now and I noticed 101 Dalmations is already on Blu Ray. Also i'll be travelling to UAE where Tarzan and Aladdin are to be released soon. Barring the Slip Cover/Extras, In terms of PQ/AQ, Are these blu rays the same products we get in USA? Like when 101 Dalmations comes out in USA will it have the same PQ/AQ as the current release of it in UK? If its the movie i wanna see in HD .. should i be picking up all these titles?

Tarzan is Dolby Digital 640kbs 5.1 only, the eventual US release will be either be Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD MA 5.1. Also, it has less extras than the standard DVD release, US will should have nearly all the extras from the two disc DVD.

That is NOT a guarantee! There have been several "2 movie collections" where extras have been neglected and instead the DTV sequel has taken their place. Since Tarzan does have a DTV sequel, this may happen with it as well.

That's why I said "should" instead of will. Whereas, the US release will have lossless audio rather than lossy.

I'd say...
Lossless audio? Definitely!
Extras? Don't count on it...

No one can tell you what to purchase. It's your money, you should buy what you want.

I never get Disney bd's overseas. They're all going to eventually be released in the US. In general, it seems foreign releases are substandard compared to US releases. The US usually has better video, better audio, more extras, better menus and features, and better packaging (of course there are exceptions to all of these)
