Our next Kickstarter campaign will launch tomorrow, July 1.

Please share and help us preserve this Silver-Age 3-D classic!

This will be our first release in Compatible 3-D meaning you can view it on any system. The disc will have both polarized AND anaglyphic (red/cyan) 3-D versions. A dedicated 3-D Blu-ray player/display will not be required to see this Super 3-D, Quadrophonic Sound spectacular!

DYNASTY is a well-made martial arts film and a lot of fun.

Every restoration by the 3-D Film Archive is worth investing in.

With a runtime of 94 minutes (according to IMDb anyway), will there be enough space on the disc to have a nice high bitrate with 2.5 (ish) copies of the movie? (1 Anaglyph, 1 Left Eye, let's call it 0.5 for the Right Eye.)

Is there that much demand for the anaglyph version?

Yes there is a heavy demand for the anaglyphic version. While it was polarized 3-D in theaters, many people saw the red/cyan conversion on TV in the early 1980's.

We will carefully evaluate the bitrate and if there's any chance of compromised quality, we'll go with a second disc.

As on all of our releases, the BD3D quality must be optimum!

Not only is this film super entertaining, the 3D is out of this world. It's an absolute must-buy whether you are 3D capable or not. My money is down!

I'm happy to pitch in for this. This movie is awesome, I got to see this on the big screen a few years ago. What a blast. Can't wait to have giant cinder blocks flying at me in my living room! Or that crazy flying, spinning blade thing.

Just have to say it's pretty sad that an anaglyph version is included, likely as a response to new TVs no longer having 3D capability. It's disgusting how 3D has been treated by the industry, anaglyph looks awful and it should have been a thing of the past by now. Even Disney's 3D promo from back then said "Throw 'em out!"

So you prefer that those who don't have 3-D TVs and players shouldn't be able to see this in 3-D at all?

3DFA is only including the anaglyph version as a bonus -- the preferred full-color standard version is there for your enjoyment, but I guess you're not wanting to share.
