The HMV listing for the film says "Bonus DVD disc".

Marketing. It basically means this pack includes a Blu-ray and DVD of the film. TriplePlay is the same but includes an additional digital copy (for your iPod or mobile phone) of the film.

Double play is really common at the moment. Iron Man 2 was Double Play, as is Toy Story 3. All it means is that there is a Blu-ray disc and a DVD disc in the package.

Thanks. So glad they are not going flipper on us. Hate them.
why was they even created is beyond me, when we all know blu ray is supposed to be replacing DVD. Then these flippers will be a sore thumb in every collection

Really don't see what the big deal is. Its good when you get a bonus dvd copy of the film, wouldn't bother me if it came in the form of a blu/dvd flipper.

I agree, not everyone has a blu-ray player so it helps when taking a few films to a friends house without dismantling and lugging around the ps3.

More likely to have manufacturing faults...

I REALLY, REALLY hope they don't start these 'flipper' discs in the UK. To me, it'd seem really tacky and cheap. Much rather just have 2 discs.

I have to ask. What do you mean by flipper discs? I've never seen that term used.

If you are talking about flip trays to hold multiple discs in a single case, then why does that bother you so much?

He means a dual-sided combo disc, with BD one one side and DVD on the other. Like Universal have pulled with some of their US titles.

I don't see it happening.

Sounds strange, like a mutant disc or something. Glad we don't have them.
