Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus questions….

- First, I’ve only ever used iPads
- I know that the Fire HD 10 Plus isn’t the same
- I currently have a 7th generation iPad.

Does anyone on here have a Fire HD 10 Plus? Do you like it? Not like it? Recommended? Not recommended? Why?

For $375-ish I can get the Fire HD 10 Plus with keyboard, wireless charger, Microsoft office for a year, ad free, and a decent sized Micro SD card for expanded storage.

Should I or should I not ‘bite the bullet’ for way more money for the new iPad Air ($750 for only 256 gb)?

It depends what you want to do with it.

I can say the iPad Air is way more faster than the Fire HD 10 Plus.

The only way to install Apps, is from the Amazon App Store. Okay you can also install Google Play Store, but when you do that, your will loose your guaranty of the Amazon Fire.

The Amazon Appstore isn't that good.

The Amazon Apps like: Alexa, Prime Video, Audible, Music are allready installed and can't be deleted.

Outside on a bit sunny day it is very hard to see anything on the Amazon Fire screen.

So let my say it in a different way. If you only want to use the Tablet, for a bit Movie or TV Serien watching, listen to Music or Audiobooks or shop on Amazon the Fire Tablet is enough.

Even for a bit Surfing it is okay, but once again way slower thant a new iPad.

But if your want a tablet for really do work on it, the ipad Air is definitly the better choice.

I have a Fire Tablet and I use it now only for Prime Video my Wife has an ipad Air and my Mom has a Samsung Tablet. And the Fire Tablet is the slowest with less Apps than the other too. But like I said, if you just want to use it for the typical Amazon Apps, the Fire Tablet is enough.
