it's not supposed to come out until the 25th which would be tomorrow. I havent heard anything about and delays, but i wouldnt be surprised. it was already held back from the 12th due to the collectors edition needing more time to be pressed to disc. so who knows. but theres a good review for the 360 version on ign which is an identical game minus the bluray of hard boiled.

Gamestop.com is showing the PS3 ship date as 10/29...not the 9/25 that it had been for a while. I have the limited edition preordered and I'm sort of glad it's delayed as I have more than enough things to waste money on. The demo is fun though, need to try the higher difficulty level I unlocked my first time through.

Amazon also lists it as 10/29, so apparently it's been quietly delayed again.

after i played the demo and thought long and hard about it while weighing in my pros and cons. I have concluded that my 5 dollar pre order at gamestop for this game was going to be wasteful since i have not been wow'd and bedazzled as i though it was going to be. u can barely control where you slide and what not, almost anything you bump into will make you go sliding and jumping over carts and what not. i said screw it. i took my pre order and put it on UT3 instead. way way better and replay value is insanely high.

You know in the demo there's a whole bunch of options for controlling Tequilla time, aiming, screen type etc which make significant differences to the game.

Press either start or select in game.

yeah but all in all the game stinks any way you look at it. i thought that even with the blu ray movie it came with i would be satisfied but no way. im not paying 70 bucks for that .

If you're online and have access to the psn store down load the demo and judge for your self. I personally like it, and once you beat it, you can always trade it towards one of the many tripple A titles coming out over the next 12 weeks.

I got the demo of it, I'm not very impressed, although i really wanted to get this one bcoz of the included blu-ray of Hard Boiled.

Loved the demo, but not planning on fitting it into my budget right now. Maybe sometime down the road.

I'm looking forward to playing strangehold. There should be a review for it on IGN either tomarrow or this week sometime. I believe that there will be a collectors edition and a regular version. The difference is that the collectors edition will have the movie hard boiled and the regular edition will not so you don't have to get the movie and the game on one disc. You can just get the game by itself. Haven't heard anything else about stranglehold lately so the game should be out very soon.

I just looked on the ign website and stranglehold is now set for release next month, october, on the 29th. Looks like we'll have to wait one more month for it.

Gah, it is annoying how often that delays are happening for games. I remember having money set aside to get Rainbox 6:Vegas and then it got pushed back until Jan 07, then March 07 and so on. By the time it came out, that money I set aside had been spent on stuff for my family. The same thing looks like it is going to happen with Stranglehold. I know that I will be spending the money on The Simpsons Game (if the reviews are good) and CoD 4 before this one since they all come out about the same time. It is a shame because I was really looking forward to getting Stranglehold this week. Now it is just a renter for me.

i liked playing the demo, but its was kinda the same stuff over and over again. i would prolly pick it up maybe when i have some extra money or something. grab it on ebay for 30 bucks lol

I think it been push back because of Heavenly Sword. It's all about marketing.IMO
