Does anyone have a solution is to why my iPod keeps freezing, and going back to the main menu. This is happening when I'm playing my digital copies.
I have used 110GB / 1.2 GB Free Songs: 4,201 Videos: 62 (Digital Copies) Photos: 33 FYI, I have recently erased everything, and re-synced everything back to my iPod and now it's giving me this problem with freezing when I play movies. When I'm listening to music, it will play half a song, and it will skip and play the next track. ![]() Solutions? Should I just reformat everything again, and sync large files one by one instead of the whole damn iTunes Library? Thanks for your help. |

I think it's the iPod itself. I don't think it can handle all this memory I synced to it all at one time. And my iPod was fine before all of this. |

Try resetting your iPod: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1320
I would also delete a few items making the available free space closer to 20%, although 10% free space should be fine. Good luck. |

I just tried the reset procedure, and this is what happens when I play a movie. It will reset it self (Showing Apple Logo).
I think I may have to reformat the entire device and re-sync my files again. ![]() |

There seems to be a major problem now.
![]() Now my iPod can't be recognized by my iTunes. When my iPod finally loads. It says it's probably corrupted, and I have the option to restore it. Well I can't do it because that option won't show unless I unplug the iPod. When it's unplugged. The Option is there. When I hit Okay.. the window disappears, and I can't restore my iPod. ![]() |

So I had a little luck last night, but I was able to erase the entire iPod and all of the contents.
However, my iTunes will NOT recognize my iPod. ![]() For some reason. Now my iPod says it's used 103 GB, and has about 2 GB remaining? ![]() There's no songs, or movies now. It's bascially empty. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Maybe I might call Apple Support and be on hold forever. Is it possible to bring my iPod to a local Apple Store to take a look at it? Buying a new iPod is the last option right now. ![]() ![]() |
