Default Blu-ray launch?

Now that Sony pushed back the release date on their Blu-rays... are any other companies still releasing Blu-ray discs on May 23rd?

This is devastating!

The first Blu-ray movies come out on 6/20 with more on 6/27. The Samsung player comes out on 6/25 as does the Pioneer. Sony may be out that day as well although their official site still says 8/15. Panasonic's player is due in September. There may also be an LG player on 6/25.

Oh noes! Tehy sky is falling !!1in1o111!!!

Relax. Don't fall for the propoganda and hype. This is a wise delay, like nyg indicates. Have the software and hardware ready to go, at the same time, for a nice, smooth launch.

Frankly, BR doesn't need to rush itself out on account of HD-DVD, which rushed itself out in as haphazard of a consumer electronics' product launch that I've seen since...the Xbox 360. Gee, what a coincidence?
